Currarong Beach is approx 30 kilomtres south of Nowra on the northern end of the Beecroft Peninsula.
The town and the beach both have a relaxed holiday atmosphere. Currarong is beach friendly and dogs on leash are allowed to walk from 4pm to 8am during daylight hours.
Currarong is a good surf beach with a good NE swell reef and point breaks spring to life with some exceptionally high quality waves.
The area is also one of the best places to fish on the coast. A (difficult to find track) will get you down to a spot close to Point Perpendicular where Yellow Fin and Marlin can be caught from land!
