Culburra Beach

 Surfing Culburra Beach

Culburra Beach is patrolled from December 22 to the end of the school holidays and on weekends. It is dog friendly and you can walk your dog between 4pm and 8am during daylight hours. Culburra Beach is flanked by the Crookhaven River to the north and west, and Lake Wollumboola to the south.

Lake Wollumboola is and intermittently open coastal lake that is a sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing destination when the water levels are high and it is a bird and wildlife paradise all year round.

The northern end of the 3 kilometre beach ends in the Crookhaven Park, home to the Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse. the Culburra township acts as a regional centre for the nearby coastal villages of Currarong, Callala Beach, Callala Bay and Orient Point.
